This project has involved working closely with a contractor to deliver Project 150. This project was a £33 million development off of the Carlise Road Campus of Eastbourne College. The brief was to deliver a Teaching Block and a Sports Block in 2 phases over 18 months.
Phase 1
This phase of the project was to deliver 32 new classrooms, a new 3 storey cricket pavilion with a second-floor seminar room, an ICT suite and a new school shop.
We supplied Air conditioning was to these areas via 3 no. Mitsubishi VRF Systems, consisting of a variety of wall mounted, 4-way cassette and ducted units. These were then all linked back to a centralised controller and the central BMS. Ventilation was served via a full fresh air packaged AHU.
Phase 2
The second phase of the project was to deliver the sports centre, swimming pool, squash courts, gym, fitness suite, dance studio, dining facilities, café, function/seminar rooms and plentiful social and exhibition space.
Air conditioning was served to these areas via a 3 no. Mitsubishi VRF Systems, consisting of a variety of wall mounted, 4 way cassette and ducted units, all linked back to a centralised controller and the central BMS.

- 1no Kitchen Extract Fan
- 1no Dishwash Extract fan
- 2no uPvc Chemical extract fans and multiple smaller extract systems.
The ductwork on this project was extensive, it included full range powder coated ducts in the swimming pool, Fire rated ducts in the kitchen and Stainless Steel dishwasher extraction ducts.
